Image London has been fitting and teaching hair extensions in London since 2009. Every course is delivered by working educators — people who are still behind the chair, still solving real client problems, and still trading in the same market you're entering.
We keep our groups deliberately small. You're not sitting in a lecture watching someone else work — you're doing it. When you leave, you leave with hands-on hours logged and a kit you can use the next day.
Our Bermondsey salon is a real, working space. The environment you train in is the environment you'll be working in.

Deposits are non-refundable. Transfers to a future date are accepted with at least 7 days' notice.
Klarna finance is available on Foundation and Pro certificates, subject to Klarna's standard eligibility checks. Klarna is not available for the Elite Accelerator or Private Team Training.
All prices include VAT where applicable. Private Team Training is invoiced directly.
FAQ
Common questions
Do I need to be a hairdresser to attend?
No. The Foundation Certificate is designed for complete beginners. You don't need a hairdressing background — we start from scratch and work around your pace.
Which course is right for me?
If you're brand new, start with the Foundation Certificate. If you already work in a salon and want to add extensions as a service, the London Pro Certificate is the better fit. If you want intensive one-to-one mentorship and have an active client base, apply for the Elite Accelerator. Salon owners looking to train a team should enquire about Private Team Training.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. All courses include a certificate of completion issued by Image London Academy. You should check with your insurer whether additional CPD or accreditation requirements apply to your specific policy.
Can I get insured after completing a course?
Most professional insurers accept training certificates as evidence of competence, but requirements vary. We recommend contacting your insurer directly before booking to confirm what documentation they need.
Which extension methods are covered?
Keratin bonds, tape-in, nano ring and micro ring. The Foundation and Pro courses cover all four. The Elite Accelerator can also include weft methods on request.
Is a starter kit included?
Yes — the Foundation and Pro certificates both include a professional starter kit. The Elite Accelerator includes a premium kit. Private Team Training includes all tools and materials for the day.
How many students are in each class?
Foundation: max 6. London Pro: 1-2-1. Elite Accelerator: max 2. Private Team Training is tailored to your group size (up to 6 per session).
Where does training take place?
All academy sessions are held at our Bermondsey salon, SE1 — easily accessible from Bermondsey, Surrey Quays and London Bridge stations. Private Team Training can also be delivered at your own salon.
Do I need to bring a model?
For the London Pro Certificate and Elite Accelerator, you'll work on a live model on day two. We can advise on sourcing a suitable model once you're booked.
What support do I get after training?
Elite Accelerator students receive priority support for 90 days post-training. All other students are welcome to reach out with questions — we're not going to leave you stranded.
How do deposits and payments work?
You pay a deposit to secure your date; the remainder is due on the day of training. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future date if you give at least 7 days' notice. Klarna is available for the Foundation and Pro certificates (subject to eligibility). Klarna is not available for the Elite Accelerator or Private Team Training.
What happens if a date is sold out?
Join the waiting list — we'll contact you as soon as a place becomes available or a new date is added.
Can I book private one-to-one training?
Yes — the Elite Accelerator is effectively a private 1:1 or 1:2 experience. If you're after something even more bespoke, reach out and we'll put together a custom proposal.
Can you train an entire salon team?
Yes. Private Team Training is designed exactly for this. We can come to your salon or host you at our Bermondsey academy. Book a call and we'll scope the day around your team's needs.
