How Hand-Tied & LA Weave Extensions Are Applied
Hand-tied extensions: Small sections of your natural hair are tied with thread, and wefts are sewn onto these sections by hand. This creates a flat, discreet base that can blend naturally with your hair.
LA Weave: Micro beads are placed in a straight line close to the scalp. The hair weft is then sewn into the beads using a thread and needle. This method creates a strong, secure foundation that distributes weight evenly.
Both methods require regular appointments every 6-8 weeks for adjustments as your natural hair grows. We recommend gentle brushing, avoiding excessive heat, and using sulphate-free products to keep your extensions in the best condition.
How Hand-Tied & LA Weave Extensions Are Removed
Hand-tied removal: Your stylist locates the wefts and carefully cuts the thread so the weft can be released without rough pulling.
LA Weave removal: The micro beads are located and squeezed with specialised pliers to open them, allowing the wefts to be removed without pulling or damaging your hair.
After removal, we recommend deep conditioning treatments and regular trims to keep your natural hair healthy between extension appointments.
